I am aware resolve does not and has never supported the audio part (ac3) of sony consumer clips, therefore i always rewrap the clips using editready (latest version) where audio becomes pcm, video untouched pass through to mov container and the resulting clips work fine in resolve. It shows itself as random frames of the clips showing as offline.

I experience a problem with using clips from a consumer Sony handycam, that worked fine in Resolve up untill 12.5.6 and breaks down in Resolve 14 beta 1-4.
